Decorating with a Basketball Theme for Kids Rooms

Our family is in the thick of Basketball season with their school teams, and my youngest is asking to have his room done in a "all basketball" theme. Most kids wall stickers and decor that are sports related usually tie in one or more sports, so I thought I would showcase just the Basketball themed wall decor.

This post is going to be full of photos, because I simply could not choose just one or two to show everyone. Princess Playroom

This is one of the cutest playrooms I have ever seen, and I am proud to say we had a hand in designing it. A mom of two little adorable girls needed more space for herself and them, so she created this gorgeous space in a room in her house. The room just glows pink and when you walk in you feel like a princess!

We assisted in helping her pick out the artwork for the room from Oopsy Daisy Fine Art for Kids, and she arranged them beautifully. We have a large update of canvas wall art coming early next week, and will have hundreds of new items to select from.

Princess Themed Decor

We have a really large selection of Princess themed peel and stick stickers and wall decor, and it is hands down one of most popular themes for girls. Everyday we help our customers choose the right look and placement for their little Princess's special space. There are so many options, but we have decided to highlight a few based on availability in the room.

Is your child's bed on a medium to large wall with no windows and no other wall hangings? Then you may like the Castle Canopy mural. You can add on the castle windows on either side, or leave it by itself. Because this is such a large and beautiful mural, not to much else will be needed in the room, maybe a growth chart or a name banner over a vanity or dresser. I have personally seen this is a girls room we did last year and it is stunning.

Another option is if you have very little wall space to work with. Then we would suggest a fun and bright wall border that would pull colors from a rug, bedding or window treatments in the room. Many of our wall borders have a applique pack of stickers that matches that you can use in small spots, or even decorate furniture with! Some examples are the whimsical Fairy Princess wall border and appliques and the serene Fantasy Princess wall border and appliques.
